I love these two! Look at this gorgeous color in this wedding. It seems she may have designed the wedding based around her beautiful red hair! :) A small intimate wedding in an Art Museum in Balboa Park, San Diego, this wedding was one of my favorites. The flowers were so unique and the intimate setting was so perfect for their quiet romantic style.

This gorgeous Malibu ranch was the perfect setting for Natasha and Dan’s wedding. The attention to detail and personalization of their wedding was so wonderful. The small romantic details really made this wedding stand out to me. Dan proposed by writing to Natasha on their mirror at home, and they used that romantic notion to inspire their mirrored details….love it! Thank you for having me Natasha and Dan, your wedding was lovely!

I was so excited to find out that one of my images is in Rolling Stone for the June 2010 issue! I did promo shots for my favorite Blues Man, Keb’ Mo’ several months ago. Keb’ is doing the music for a new TNT show starring Jason Lee, called “Memphis Beat”. On page 4 of Rolling stone is two pages about the show, and an interview with Mr. Keb’ Mo’ about his role with the music. As I specialize in weddings mostly, being in Rolling Stone was not something I thought was in my cards this year, but I must say it is such an honor and certainly makes me want to do more in music…stay tuned!! :)

I am a little delayed on blogging about this, it has been a busy year so far!! I am proud to announce that I have been rated by local brides and voted The Knot Best of Weddings 2010 Pick! This award means a lot to me because it is based on reviews by my clients. This means I am doing my job and making my clients happy which is the thing I love most about my job! I am fortunate to be able to document love and new families beginning, and generations coming together and this award means that I am doing just what I am suppose to do. :) Thank you to all my amazing clients, I really do have the best clients in the world and I feel so blessed.

Lauren and Blake are two of the most wonderful people I have worked with. I really loved being part of this wedding and wanted to share a few of my favorites from the day. It was so hard to choose my favorites from this wedding, everything was so gorgeous! I loved working with Lauren and Rob they are an amazing couple…so sweet.
A lovely Church ceremony to an evening under a pink canopy surrounded by European architecture and lush flowers and candlelight…what more could you ask for. Congratulations Lauren and Rob!! Thanks for having me!

Monica said she loves color! So I chose this location with the orange and lemon groves, which I absolutely love. It has a natural and rustic feel, yet also clean and vibrant. Orange groves photograph so well, and the color just pops out at you. I love to try to get a bit of a vintage feel while still keeping great color in the images. This very handsome couple was such a pleasure to spend the afternoon with on a gorgeous day in sunny California. I hope you love these as much as I do!

I am so excited for Theresa and Jono’s wedding in Santa Barbara this weekend. These two are so easy to photograph! I tried to focus on using the greens and blues in their clothes and in the environment and pulled them out a bit in post production. I really wanted that soft but colorful look and these two were perfect for it! I love to include a lot of the environment in my images as well and this location is one of my favorites.
