Devon and Jon’s wedding was so wonderfully done, it was such a pleasure to be a part of. Jessica of Bijoux Events did such a fantastic job of putting everything together and having it all go smoothly. A perfect example of why coordinators are important, this wedding could not have gone smoother! The families were so calm and kind and Devon and Jon are one of those couples that are truly made for each other. The light, the weather, the classic car and the gorgeous couple…I love my job! The evening was even graced with the presence of the Mayor of Santa Barbara. Thank you so much for having me, it was just wonderful!

Waverly and Albert were so much fun to work with! I love a bride willing to sit on the ground in her wedding dress! The Greystone Mansion is an amazing and romantic location and I was so excited to shoot at this classic mansion. Here are a few of my favorites from the day, hope you enjoy them!

I had the honor of doing a shoot at the The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens in San Marino. Newly open for weddings on the property, Huntington needed some images for their promotion. The talented ladies at Fresh Events have been chosen as one of the exclusive coordinators for the location and they coordinated this amazing shoot as well. A collaborative effort of some very talented people, including Alison of Le Petit Gardenia and her breathtaking florals, this shoot was really wonderful. Some very hard work went into this during our busy wedding season, and I want to thank all that were involved. The Huntington has so many botanical gardens, collections, and historically significant settings to experience a truly unique wedding. There is so much room for creativity.

This amazing couple hired me only 3 months after they met each other. It was love at first sight and they are so adorable together. Being around them you can feel their connection. Their grandparents made the long trip from Israel and were deeply honored at the event through the beautiful toasts and traditions. Adee and Jonathan wanted to have a traditional Orthodox Jewish wedding with a whole lot of style! It was beautiful mix of tradition, modern style, family roots and lots of dancing! Gorgeous location, gorgeous couple, gorgeous weather, I love my job! Shari and Josh were married at the beautiful Dana Point St. Regis. This location is so big and has so many great areas to shoot. I am always honored to be chosen by another photographer to shoot their wedding. Kevin is a talented commercial photographer and these two are such a sweet couple. They seem so effortless together, it is obvious their bond is for a lifetime! I had a great time shooting this wedding and the fantastic color combination made for beautiful and unique details. I am so sorry I haven’t posted in so long!! This summer wedding season is kicking my behind! So my blogging has been taking the hit as I am busy editing and shooting… Anyway here are a few engagement sessions to get started with my blogging marathon ( I hope! unless of course my phone rings, or I get 15 emails or something ) ANYWAY! I am so excited for Rebecca and Aaron’s wedding at Robinson’s Ranch in September. They are so much fun…silly and romantic at the same time. What a fantastic combination.

Here are a few of my favorites…

I love that Kristine and Robert brought so many clothes and props for me to play with! I had quite the selection and very little daylight to work with, so much of this was actually shot in the twilight and in the dark. But I am really happy with what we got at this session, and these two were so much fun! We infused a bit if 1950s nostalgia with some silliness, and some romance and style as well. What a fantastic combination. Thanks for a great session Kristine and Robert! I hope you love the images!

This amazing wedding was such a joy to capture, the people, the locations, the details, all gorgeous!! Heather and Joe have such great taste! I LOVE a bride willing to get dressed outside for pictures! The beautiful maid of honor gave them the most amazing gift of the dove release and an incredibly touching speech to go along with it. These two truly are loved and seem to compliment each other perfectly. A special thanks to Whitney Drake of Wish Wonder Dream for coordinating this amazing event! Congratulations Heather and Joe! Look at this girl, isn’t she gorgeous! This wedding was so much fun to be a part of. Lerna and Saro’s families really know how to have a good time! And Mimi Flowers, the coordinator did such an amazing job of keeping everything running smoothly and looking beautiful. Having a coordinator like Mimi is so important and I think makes all the difference in the world as I am sure Lerna and Saro agree. We went to Pasadena City Hall for pictures in between which is one of my favorite places for architecture. The day was filled with love and laughter and LOTS OF DANCING! Which I just love and is GREAT for pictures! Thanks for having me Lerna and Saro!

Suzette and Jason celebrated their 15th anniversary with the big wedding they never had. These two are so sweet you would never know they are both military trained! Watching the slideshow they put together, I was in awe of the life long love these two have shared. Their daughter Kaitlynn is so animated and adorable and just fun to be around! Their family and friends obviously love them so much and it was an honor to be a part of this amazing event.
